“Facebook Page Spring Clean” mini challenge.
We will be optimising your face book page for when your perfect customer lands on it.
If you get involved why not reply to me with your progress.
Cover image and profile image on your business page. Let’s spruce them up!
When someone comes over to your page they need to know exactly what you do very quickly. You can use your cover photo for this by adding text to it. Make the text a benefit statement that explains exactly what benefit your perfect customer will get. Example from my page: “Learn how to reach your business goals faster using video.”
To add text, my favourite web software is Canva you can log in and literally click on Facebook Cover and it will make it the right size; 815 by 315.px.
This tip can also be applied to your twitter, you tube and linked in header and twitter profile blurb if you have them. Again Canva will give you the templates and the correct size to do this.
For your profile image just check it’s your most up to date photo and that it does your page justice. (Getting new photos done can be the easiest way to bring a new lease of life to any marketing.)
Good luck and any questions pop me an email.
Keeping it easy today, we are looking at filling in all the gaps on your about us sections of the Facebook page
Just follow the video below and get it all up to date. Lot’s of time a business can change direction and forget to update this section and indeed anywhere their message is communicated. Make sure it’s up to date with your current mission and written with your perfect customer in mind.
Reviews, reviews, reviews!
You have your ideal customer on your page, they can see clearly what you do from tip one, have found out about you from tip 2 now you need to give them some social proof. Everyone can say how great they are but it is when it’s coming from customers (social) you have already worked with, that it really adds value to your page and could be the tipping point for someone to decide to work with you. Even if you have some reviews already you can never have too many and recent ones are the best.
This week go on a review collecting mission! Here is my guide to doing that: http://becky-holmes.com/video-using-reviews-attract-clients/ Just reach out to all your favourite clients and ask for a review or testimonial, but make it very easy for them to do so by sending them the link they need.
The call to action!
The call to action, once you have your perfect customers attention what would you like them to do next? This is about choosing and then making it as obvious and easy as possible to do it. This video explains how to utilise the built in button on facebook pages.
Facebook has the ability to add videos, and pin one of them to the top of the Facebook page. This is a great opportunity to pin a welcome message to the top of the page. This should be about 3 minutes long and include: the benefits of your service/product, what solution you provide and have a strong call to action at the end. It is a fab way to greet your new potential clients and really give them a flavour of who you are and what you do. Video gives them a feel of what it would feel like to work with you in the future.
That’s it! The end of the Facebook spruce! if you have followed all 5 tips your page will be now looking great and ready for the ideal clients coming your way!
